Voting Concerns at Hale School addressed
In response to some concerns raised about the use of Hale School today for voting, the Stow Board of Health contacted a representative of the Emergency Preparedness Bureau and an Epidemiology nurse, both of whom work for the Department of Public Health in Boston. The representatives that we spoke to all concurred that the school was safe to use for today’s voting.
The school was cleaned on October 28, there are no students present in the school today, voting day, there are hand cleaners for people to use, and the pens and booths are wiped down continually by the helpers at the voting site.
The Board hopes this will help put to rest any concerns that townspeople may have about using the school. We will continue to keep you informed as we learn any new information.
